《VELVET-TOTEM(NB)》
A collaboration with choreographer Damien Jalet, who brings images of myth, folk belief and ritual into dance to reflect the conflict between body and spirit. Built on the concept of "VESSEL" as the background of life and death and the cycle of earth and life, the work fuses stage art spanning gas, liquid and solid states with dancers' bodies that constantly change form. The distinctive "headless" pose, which hides the head, lends anonymity to gender and origin and conveys this vision through sculptural bodily expression.
